Anyone can register for their respective qualifiers! We do not require players to submit resumes, rankings or any other qualifications!

  • NB3 CANADA Symbol

All players who submit to enter a tournament will not be accepted immediately and will be reviewed by the NB3 JGNC team before being accepted into the tournament. Our team will approve or deny your tournament entry within 7 days of your submission based on the exemption criteria highlighted above. Your credit card will not be charged until time of entry into the event. Once you have been accepted into the tournament, your credit card will be charged. If you do not gain entry into the event, this means you did not meet the exemption criteria and you will need to play a Local Qualifier/Provincial Qualifier first before moving onto a Regional Qualifier.

  • NB3 JGNC Symbol

If you are not exempt into a Regional Qualifier, you can email us at info@jgnc.org to express your reasoning of why you feel your player should be exempt and we will meet as a Committee to make a decision. If you end up not being exempt, you must qualify at the Local level at one of the many Local Qualifiers throughout the country.

We will have the following divisions:

    Boys & Girls 16-18

    Boys & Girls 14-15

    Boys & Girls1 2-13

    Boys & Girls 10-11.

Yes the Boys/Girls 14-15 and 16-18 Divisions will stay separate for awards purposes, but they will play the same yardage and be combined for JGS & AJGA Rankings submissions.

This means that there will be an overall Boys and Girls 14-18 winner at each Regional/Provincial event.

The Boys & Girls 10-11 Division MUST have a caddie to compete in any local or regional qualifier.

The Boys & Girls 12-13 Division have the OPTION to use a caddie and must designate one on the first tee.

A player’s age division is determined by their age on May 1st. For example, if a player turns 14 in July of 2025, they will compete in the 12-13 Division throughout the entirety of the Series even though they may be 14 during a Local or Regional Qualifier. If a player turns 14 before May 1st of 2025, then the player will compete in the 14-15 Division throughout the entirety of the Series. If your birthdate falls on May 1st and you turn 14, you will play in the 14-15 division (This age cutoff applies for all Divisions).

If you have a question regarding what age division you should be competing in, please email info@jgnc.org.

When you register, our system will automatically put you in the correct age division based on the cutoff date of May 1st, 2025.

If a player turns 19 before the 2025 National Championship OR is attending college, they will NOT be allowed to compete.

As long as there are player's competing in a division, the JGNC Committee will award the respective qualifying spots per tournament. The NB3JGNC & NB#Canada are open series and provide the same opportunities to all golfers across the country to play their way into the National Championship.

If a division has 0 players registered, the JGNC Committee will decide if they want to allocate the remaining qualifying spots to other divisions. This decision is at the discretion of the JGNC Committee and all factors will be evaluated before the decision is made. This applies to the first and second stage of qualifying.

Due to our age divisions increasing and the decision to add an all-girl's and all-boy’s championship separately to our schedule, players will have a better chance to make it to our National Championship.

We guarantee you that no matter what division your player is in when they sign up, that there will be at least one spot per division that will be awarded to move on to the next stage of qualifying. We also know that four (4 ) spots will be the maximum amount awarded to a division.

Divisions will be capped, and your chance of qualifying will go up. During the first week of January, we will finalize all the spots awarded by division for the 36-hole, 2-day Regional/Provincial QUalifier tournament stage of qualifying.

More players will be able to attend each one of the separate national championships, which means more kids from every division making it all the way.

We anticipate a field of approximately 125 boys and a maximum of 55 girls at our NB3 Canada 2025 championships.
