The Notah Begay III Canadian Junior Series is bringing back the successful NB3 Elite tournament for the 2026 season.
Last season was the inaugural year of the NB3 Elite, the first of it's kind for our series and the only invitation/application processed junior event in Canada. Our event attracted the top players from across the globe, where eight different countries were represented in the field. With 150+ applications and a WAGR power of 51.1674 in year one, we can not be more excited to build this event and give our juniors a platform to showcase their skills and put junior golfers on the map in Canada.
Similar to the United States, there are a bunch of one off WAGR ranked junior events such as the Western Junior, Dustin Johnson Junior Championship, Junior Invitational at Sage Valley, and many more. These events attract the top ranked juniors from all across the world and brings awareness to all the NCAA colleges in the United States. We strive to do the same with the NB3 Elite. We want to give juniors in Canada an opportunity to compete against players from all over the world and get the attention from NCAA colleges they deserve!
The 2026 NB3 Elite tournament will be taking place on August 2-4 at Golf Griffon des Sources in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. It is a WAGR ranked event for the boys 14-18 division where the winner will receive a PGA Tour of Americas Event Exemption into the 2027 Ottawa Open. It follows an invitation & application process and each provincial association in Canada will select a player to represent their province at our event. As this event continues to grow, we plan to expand into the girls side of junior golf and offer the same format making this a co-ed event. Stay tuned for news to come.
